פספורט 746: טורקיה כמו שלא הכרתם

Dear Passport News Readers, It gives me great pleasure to say “Hello” to you all. Again the summer is with us, the school year is over and all of you have already started packing up for vacation. I have no doubt that most of you have made your holiday plans months ago. Without challenging your plans, as Ambassador of Türkiye to Israel, I would like to take the liberty of sharing my humble views for those who may wish to plan their destinations for the following holiday season or at least for an escape from the hectic work life briefly, even for few days. Türkiye and Israel are neighbours via Mediterranean. If you plan a holiday in the vicinity of Israel, with a flight just less than two hours and a secure environment it is Türkiye. Thanks to both Israeli and Turkish carriers shuttling between our two countries, today, you may face less difficulty than ever in finding an available flight from Ben Gurion to Türkiye. Almost every hour, seven days a week, there is a flight waiting for you at Ben Gurion. In addition to Turkish Airlines and Pegasus, since March 2023, we are proud to witness the Israeli airliners flying in our skies. In 2022, Türkiye hosted 850 thousand Israelis. Some visited more than once. I have no doubt that Türkiye will be the most favoured holiday destination for Israelis again, in 2023. Türkiye does not offer only sea, sun and sand which Israel has plenty of. Türkiye offers archeology and history as a land which hosted 13 civilizations, natural beauties with diverse trekking routes, great cuisine, but first and foremost an uncomparable hospitality with its people. Some of my Israeli friends who are sailors also told me that Türkiye offers them its marinas where they can easily anchor their boats in full comfort while enjoying the most beautiful coastline of Aegean Sea. Briefly, the Embassy of Türkiye in Tel Aviv and myself as Ambassador are ready 24/7 if you opt to sketch your next holiday with your family and friends. Stay tuned with Passport News and with Türkiye. Warmly, Shakir Ozkan Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Tel Aviv פספורט 4
